These are both great photos. On the top one I might have even cropped in closer, to emphasize that something as simple as a piece of grass is worth commanding our attention. The second one is very successful and I love how clear the shadow is.
The black and white photo is awesome! I love the depth of field and the nice range of values. There are dark darks, crisp whites, and midtones! The color in the second image is great! It really creates a focal point and it just overall pleasing to the eye.

The back and white one is cool but I just wish there was a more interesting focal point, something that popped out more I really love the bottom on though, those colors are awesome and it's a great angle!
I really like both of these photos. I almost wish the contrast was a little stronger in your black and white photo but it looks really nice the way that it is now.

you did a great job with the pink glasses. I think that there should be just a little more contrast for the top photo though.

B&W: Good depth in the photo, but i feel its somewhat a boring picture with the focus in the very center.

I love that even though the green is pretty muted in the color photo, the pink makes it look very strong. Nice work!
