I like the black and white photo, there is good contrast but also a nice range of values. The color photo is interesting and I like the way you composed the shot.
mmm was the noise I made when I first saw these photos. I love the texture in both of them and how you demonstrate an eye for both the more architectural and the opposite organic subjects.
These are really interesting subject matters. You effectively "tell a story"! I like the contrast in the top and the portion of tree that you took a picture of in the bottom.
i feel as if both of these photos tell an interesting story. like and old dilapidated building, is it haunted? or something like that. and the area of the tree you used almost looks burned. i love your choices of black and white and analogous color harmonies. it matches the mood of each photo.
Literally love both of these! I like the nice range of values in black and white image. The analogous picture is great because not only is there some great texture but the colors are inviting and warm and the lighting is just awesome!
Analogus: Very nice colors, my eyes have a hard time choosing to focus on the large black area, or the brown to the left of it. nice leading lines to bring you back to the focal point(s)
B&W; love the composition of this picture, nice movment with the pole and the bush. my eye keeps moving around. the photo tells a story, makes me want to go inside

Both of your photos are really nice. I love the antique, vintage feel of the top photo and I am in love with the texture of the tree bark. Job well done.
I love the black and white one. The contrast from the blackness of the window to the whiteness of the wall with all the texture just work really well together.
Your analogous photo is awesome! I love that spot of the tree that you chose to be your subject. A small change I would make would be to make the right side of the tree a little more in focus, because my eye keeps being drawn to that right side but is rejected by the out-of-focus blurring. I love photos like your black and white one. Awesome sharp contrast and mix of organic and inorganic elements, as well as the nice faded shadow across the building. Maybe it's just my eyes, but I feel like the image is slightly crooked. If the window was 100 percent upright, that would make the image even more successful.

Excellent use of anomaly on the black ad white. and rule of thirds.
